Grey Caption among carousel gallery

Hi,
I´d like to use the carousel gallery with a grey caption that shoul look like that:

What I tried now:
.kad_caption
{
background: #f9f9f9;
opacity: 100;
border: 1px solid #dedede;
}
After that I used a border color. But It don´t uses the carousel slide function. I don´t know why?
Can you please help me with that problem.
