home mobile slider "upload button" wont work

I am using Flex slider for my home page slider. But my mobile device wont load my home page. So I tried uploading lower resolution files to my Home mobile slider (under theme options) but the “upload” button clicks but it doesn’t give me the option to upload a image. The button appears to click, but no secondary window allowing me to upload any images. Any suggestions? I’m new to WPress, but I bought this theme because it touts its great ability to show on mobile devices and tablets. It seems easy, but apparently I’m doing something wrong….
