Home Page Recent Posts and Featured Images

Hello,
When my recent blog posts are shown on the home page the featured images are too big. In order to get the correct size, I have to scale the Featured Image. I would like to have the Featured Image show up on the home page as a smaller image without my having to scale it down each time.

The extra step of scale the image down is going to be hard for the client.
I just bought Virtue Premium, is there a way to solve the Featured Image size issue in that theme?
