Hover Image Over Swatch

Hi Ben
Looking to add an image that appears over the swatch image when hovered over, this is’nt working for me, not sure why:
#tm-extra-product-options .radio_image, .tm-extra-product-options .checkbox_image {
background-image: url('*Login to see link
}
#tm-extra-product-options .radio_image, .tm-extra-product-options .checkbox_image :hover {
background-image: url('*Login to see link url('*Login to see link
}
Have you any clues? I’ve referenced just this swatch *Login to see link , however I want all of them for all variables to change when hovered over to this *Login to see link .
