How to Add Headlines in Pages and Posts

I know this is an (extreme) rookie question but …
I see in “Header Font Options” headline settings for “H1, H2, H3, H4, H5”
But when I go to write a post or page in the visual editor … I don’t see anywhere to assign these headline types.
I see bold … italics … strikethrough … etc.
But I don’t see how to change the text from regular text to a headline.
Confused.
