How to change post style by tag given

Hi there,

I have been trying to create a small style change on posts with a certain tag. I have this css code:

.post.tag-pinnacle {
}

But that only works on a single post page. Not on the homepage or an archive page etc.

I want to add a ribbon or something to my featured image based on the tag I’ve given. Maybe someone knows a simple solution by code or plugin? If not, I’ll just forget about it. Took too much time already:p
