How to get rid of widgetized homepage or predefined template

I’m using virtue premium Version: 3.4.5 theme with visual composer as my page builder. The theme is using widgetized homepage or has a predefined template, which is pulling data and preventing my site from displaying static pages from visual composer. How do i get rid of the above method, to add a way for it to display the simple content from WP editor. This will make sure that the content from visual composer will be displayed as static front page without any problem.
