Hi there, I have had your theme for about 3 months and I am a newbie and do not know code. I have been learning from videos and forums. I have been trying to set up a website that is a store and will also have blogging which I will do last. I really need some guidance on the best user friendly design and way to do this.
I sell many products for example various body care products (lip gloss, fragrance oils, sprays etc) and I also sell many jewelry and customized products, therefore what I have found is that the woocommerce seems to have it set up so that the “shop page” has all the products clumped together when you click on it making it hard for my customers to sort through… So I tried to help this by setting up the drop down menus under appearance to allow for selection etc. however now the problem is that while this seems to take care of the sorting issue, when a customer selects for example, “All Necklaces” under my “Jewelry, Accessories & Supplies” menu title, they see all the necklace pictures but then if they click on a specific necklace they are interested in, it just brings up a lightbox picture but there is no link to the shop. Therefore, there is no way for them to then purchase the product…the only way for them to purchase my products right now is only if they go to the primary menu that says “shop products.” Again that will open ALL the products of which I am still adding to. I tried the custom link in the menu section but that did not work because it is connected to the page I created called “All Necklaces” which is how I added images from the media section to it….I don’t know the best way to set up my shop this way…..Is there a way to put the specific link to the specific product they choose under the menu, like I can with the “shop product” only have it also through the menu set up so when the customer clicks on it they can then get linked back to the specific shop page it is on?
~ When someone goes into product reviews and they hover over the stars the color disappears so you cannot see the stars, where do I find how to change that so the color does not just block out what they are trying to click?
~ Is there a way for people to leave testimonials (especially from my original shop which did not have online store so they bought products but have not online yet) or is that considered to only go through me?
~ How do I make the footer text larger? Right now it is almost unreadable it’s so tiny.
~ The Store name / Logo I have set up in the center but when I do that it makes it huge covering the whole page, versus the other selections which make it too small and not in the center. Is there a way for me to shrink the logo size in the center so it’s not so big?
~ Would you please look at my website sybellasblessingshop.com if you can and let me know what you think? I woudl so appreciate your advice based on your experience with the most user friendly way to set up a store and also eventually blog using this theme especially with me knowing no code? I would so appreciate any further tips or tricks. It is only me starting up this store so i don’t yet have the income to hire someone else to do it.
I have other questions but this is what i will start with. If you can private reply I would appreciate it. Thank you!
