How to remove background image from content area on specific page

Okay, in the Virtue theme settings an image is set for the background of the page content area… however, I do not want that background image for the content area on the homepage, I cannot determine the proper css selector/combination to trigger the event… does anyone know how to make this happen? Thanks. hw
