How to switch from Gutenberg to Elementor

Hello everyone,
So, am running a free Starter theme… checking Kadence out, over from GeneratePress and loving Kadence so far.
Started out with the install with Gutenberg…to try out. Had Elementor Pro…now they are colliding. And need to clean up…and need the flexibility with Elementor.
So, how do I get things switched over…is there a “simple” way? Or, what is the best way to do this?
