Hi Ben, another issue has arisen.
In light of Google’s announcement that they will start to announce to Chrome users “INSECURE” on ALL HTTP sites that require users to login and checkout (starting January 17), I have had my host install an SSL certificate. Link to Google’s announcement – *Login to see link
I saw your reply on another post about http to https..”So you need to change the site url to match your https url in the settings general. Then you need to use a plugin like this: *Login to see link
I know this plugin and understand that part, but my host had said that I do not need to go sitewide with https:// and I can simply use it on the secure pages, /account, /cart and checkout and that is commonly done.
This is a better option for me as I have affiliates promoting my products all over the web, and links out there with http://, so mass changing the entire site will be a problem.
Is it okay to just select that option in Woo Commerce without mass changing the urls on site?
