Image Grid on :hover Overlay Color

I’m trying to add an overlay color to this image grid so that it will match the overlays on the portfolio images. I’m not really concerned about the text (that would be nice too), mostly just the color. I need these to be images with links instead of portfolio links due to the way the URL is formatted.
