Image in Portfolio posts always link to "Media File"

Hi, I’m trying to create a simple portfolio post with an non-clickable image in it, but when I try to set the “Link To” dropdown to “None” it always reverts to “Media File” after saving/updating. It happens both with newly added images as well as with existing ones. Is that by design? If that’s the case, is there a workaround?
