Images black/dissappearing

Hi everybody!
I am working on my new blog and some strange things keep happening. First I thought it was just one glitch, maybe my browser or something. But it keeps happening, too many times to represent myself properly.
What happens is my pictures just disappear. I keep refreshing the page and after about 10 times the picture does appear, but when I refresh again it will be gone for another 10 or so times. This happens on my portfolio single pages.
And on (mostly my homepage) images appear half black. Or with black horizontal stripes over them. What is that? I’ll keep refreshing but it doesn’t go away with that. You’ll just have to wait half an hour or something and then suddenly my pictures or back in full colour.
Can anyone tell me where my problem (probably) lies? I will post a link to my site but the problem is it doesn’t always happen. It happened the entire day on and off. So there is a good chance you don’t see the problem…
