Installing Child Theme fails

Hi,
downloading Example Premium Child Theme from *Login to see link and installing it works fine.
UnZIPing it and ZIPing it again, then uploading fails:
“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
I must have a fundamental misunderstanding here…
I am using WinRAR (with or without compression) and tried 7-Zip (storing as ZIP instead of 7z).
