Kadence Advanced Slider not full width

when using an advanced slider block for three slides in the home page header areas, is there a trick to getting the slider full width? When I install the slider block, no matter what I do, I cannot get the slide to cover the full width of the screen. It does appear that the slider is full width, however, the row inside is not.
I was using a prebuilt row design in the slider. After playing with the width settings in both the slider and the row, I am unable to get it full width. I’ve tried changing images, setting the slider and row to full width, changing max width to 2000, wide width, no row gutter. The row directly above the slider is full width so I don’t know what’s going on.
