I swear, software knows when you’re about to release it. My staging site died at about 4pm this afternoon. We were applying that last changes when this error happened. We had planned to release before midnight tonight. But not now…
After previewing the latest edit of the homepage (which looked fine), I had gone back to the Dashboard to edit the homepage again. I then clicked “Edit”, but when it displayed, the page had drastically changed. It was somewhat transparent, and various blocks on the page had error messages above them, all of the form “Your site doesn’t include support for the “kadence/(various-block-names)” block. You can leave this block intact, convert its content to a Custom HTML block, or remove it entirely.”. One minute the page was fine, and the next, an unrecoverable error.
The “Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features” plugin is version 2.4.13. Auto-updates are enabled. I looked in wp-contents. A quick scan of the top Kadence directory showed the latest update was probably July 29, 2022 at 8:28 PM (that’s Central time more than likely). WordPress is version 6.0.1. PHP version is 7.4.30. Server is running LiteSpeed on Linux 3.10.0-962.3.2.lve1.5.60.el7.x86_64 x86_64.
Since I took no overt action that might have caused the issue that I can see, can anyone help? I would still like to get the staging site pushed tonight if at all possible.
Regards,
Jim
