Kadence Slider buttons not appearing

I have a four slide slider here:

and the buttons do not show. I’m using background images and the second and fourth slides have two buttons each on them, but they will not show up. The first and third are just backgrounds.
I put a z-index of 1000 on the buttons.
What can I do to troubleshoot this?
- The forum ‘Virtue Theme’ is closed to new topics and replies.
