Kadence Slider Disappears

Hi guys, joined as a member a couple of days ago and loving the themes etc. I had a site with not much in it to be fair so changed the theme to the Virtue pro. All seems OK and I have added a Kadence slider (which I would like full width but just wont do it). I would like this slider to be behind the menu and top bar but if I set it to be above the top bar, the page just looks wrong and then if I set this option off, it totally disappears (this is through the Home Slider Option).
Any idea how this could be happening?
