Landing Page Integration Into Website

Now that I have a nice, full-screen slider landing page I want to integrate it into my website but I am not sure how and am chasing my tail a bit on this.

If I set the landing page (named Homeagain1) in Dashboard – Settings – Reading – Static Page – Front Page I get the full-screen slider appearing between the header and footer. I do have Landing-noheader defined as the page template for Homeagain1.

The landing page’s name is not Home. There already is a Home page – the original one to which I want to link to from the landing page.

Does the landing page have to be named Home?

I tried removing the original Home from the menu, then put the new “home” (named Begin) in the menu on top to which to link to from the landing page. Then, without putting the landing page in the menu, set Reading (as above) to the landing page’s name which is NOT Home but is Homeagain1. Same result. Landing page between visible header and footer.

I thought of creating a sub-domain clone of my website and leave the new landing page as the “parent” domain and linking to it from the landing page.

As I said, chasing my tail.

What do I need to do here?

Thanks,

Jerry
