Logo Centre Layout shrink on Scroll

Hi,
I am using Virtue theme and my client wants just the logo in the header section with the nav bar straight underneath – so 2 rows. I have made the header section as sticky but there is no option to shrink the header on scroll.
Is there some code I can add in to do this?
I have tried using other layouts such as the Center Logo with menus on the side but I want the menu underneath not on the side – am I best to edit the header.php for this option??
