Main Content Background, Header, & Top Bar Font Color

Looked to see if there are any previous topics but no… I’m picking up how to do things fairly quickly but I’m floored on four things.

Main content background image.

1920 x1200 is the ideal max image size per theme punch for “web friendly” image sizes. Re-sized a picture to play with the settings. Theme options> advanced styling> upload the main content background image and I get what is on the site now. Tiles or repeats twice. any suggestions?

Header

Is there a way to disable the header all together and move those menu items to the top bar. I’m sure I can add icons to the top bar; link them to other pages, and make it transparent. That I have no issues with.. I guess turning off the header if it’s possible would be my question.

Top Bar

Probably staring me in the face. Changing the font color and size. I actually don’t mind the white it goes great. But Is it labeled another way? Just not “Top bar Font Color”

I have the apple website in mind behind the turning off the header. The top bar above the slider is cool but it looks good under the slider too. I won’t be picky.

This is labeled Current tool inventory on the home page.
set up a page for each one of the toys we have for construction. In the product gallery the pictures are in two vertical columns. Is there a specific setting I’m missing to have one row?
