Main menu disable fly-in effect

Hello,
I change the background of the main menu. (#nav-main and sf-menu) Part of this is a small background image. The problem is that the image fade in with a fly-in effect from the left by mouseover. I don’t find an option to disable this effect.
Here is a screenshot. The right bottom is how it shoud look. The left buttom shows how the golden line moves from left corner to bottom.
