Hi,

I’ve having trouble with making the elements (inside buttons, highlighted content, color backgrounds) perfectly centered, with the equal amounts of padding/margin on all sides. Please see the screenshot example below. If I set equal amounts of padding at the top and bottom then the text is clearly not vertically centered.

1. Why is that?
2. What is the workflow the professional designers use to make sure all elements are perfectly centered? I’m currently judging by the eye, and trying to adjust the paddings manually, but since the numbers for the top and bottom padding has to be different for some reason, it isn’t always accurate. Are there are any tools that can scan the website and tell which elements are not centered or something to help with this process?
