Making Kadence slider buttons transparent

Hi,
I have been editing my Pinnacl theme’s Kadence slider, but am unable to make the background colour of the button transparent. I have tried to type ‘transparent’ into the colour no. box, but it does not work. How does one make the background colour of a button transparent?
