Massive problem with WPML

Hello,
I was creating a website and was ready to launch today, however, I’ve noticed at the last moment after all my updates that wpml has no effect on translations anymore.
When I try to use string translation, the language doesn’t update. Another huge problem is, that whatever settings I change in the theme options menu – such as language, titles and so on, it simply doesn’t update anymore. I can try and change it hundred times and it will revert to the same original name.
Whaterver is in english is stuck in english and whaterver is in my native language, slovak, is in Slovak and trying to translate it has no effect. Trying to change the name of portofilo carousel or latest blog posts has no effect either.
