Merging the primary menu with the background picture

Hi there
I am redesigning my website and trying to emulate some of the design ideas you have in kadence themes. I am trying to merge the primary menu with the hero image on the front page. I have managed to get the primary menu showing on the image, but not the logo. The logo only appears when I scroll down. Also, ‘home’ does not have the same font colour as the other menu options for some reason. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks
