mistake importing site

hello,

i built the site http://www.syncpack.info

and wanted to transfer it to http://www.imhk-tempsite.com

i got it transferred over okay, but there are a couple of problems..

first, i have that blank space at the top that i dont know how to get rid of..

and next

Ben, a while ago, you gave me this code to make my menus link to padded anchors on my page..

i used it again on this page, but now whenever i click the links at the top of the page, it acts as if it is opening a new tab all together.. i dont know how to make it stop acting like that..

any advice would be much appreciated.. Thank you in advance.
