Mobile Device Image Scaling for Category Background Image

Hi guys, I wonder if you can help. I have noticed that if I have a background image set on a product category, it looks really good on a PC screen etc but doesn’t scale for a mobile device. Basically, it just uses the middle portion of the image. Is this just a feature of the theme or is there something I can do to force the full image to scale on a mobile?
