Mobile display

Hi,
My site is *Login to see link and I can’t figure out how to make the site display correctly on mobile and tablet. The only real problem with the tablet display is the home sider image, the rest is OK. However, on mobile the home slider and the images at the top of each of the supporting pages (About, Services, Contact) are not displaying properly.
I’ve had a look through the forum and tried a few things – I’ve tried changing Theme Option/Home Slider from Cover to Contain, then also changing Inherit to No Repeat. Neither of these two things achieves the right effect and in any case would not solve the issue on the supporting pages.
Also, I seem to have gained a shadow effect on the image on the home page – it looks like it is tiling the image, but I changed the settings back to what they were before (when there was no tiling effect) so don’t know why I have tiling now when it wasn’t there before.
