mobile menu & icon

Hi there,
I am using the shiftnav plugin for my mobile menu and it has worked fine on the Virtue theme. I am checking out the Pinnacle theme these days and somehow I can’t get rid of the themes mobile menu icon (hamburger) as I don’t need it when using the shiftnav’s mobile icon. Do you have a workaround?
Also when using the shiftnav plugin the header does not go transparent. It kind of only goes transparent when insisting to scroll upwards. When deactivated it works. Are you familiar with this and would you know of a trick to solve the problem?
