Hi!

I’ve just made my site live (hooray!) and I’ve realised that there are a couple of issues with the mobile version I need to sort out pretty sharpish. My site is http://www.peskyvarmint.co.uk.

1) The first problem is that most of the pages don’t have images behind the header, so the title of the page is barely visible because it is white text on very pale grey. It’s a bit weird because one of the portfolio pages has the header image, but I don’t think any of the settings are different, unless I’m missing something. But basically I need to either change the text colour to something darker ONLY on the mobile site where the header images don’t show up, and making sure in that case that they all don’t show up, or make the header images show up.

2) I’d also like to be able to tweek the space between the home page title and the first block of content (I like the extra space on the desk-top size site but it is too much on a small screen), is there some custom css I can use to alter this? The way I made it happen as it is, is with:

body.home #content .main {
padding:50px 15px;
}

3) Finally, the icon menu doesn’t show the images on the mobile site home page, the image menu doesn’t work where I’ve used it on the services page, and none of the images on the photo retouch pages show at all. Also, I have a gif on the 404 page that doesn’t show on mobile. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or to not have them show up at all on the mobile site but still be used on the desk-top site? In the case of the photo retouch pages I’d probably need to have an entirely different page load on mobile to tell visitors there is more to see on desk-top. Probably related, the revolution slider I have on the main site home page wasn’t loading on the mobile site so I switched it off. If there is something I can do to make it load that would be cool.

Thanks for all your help, I know I’ve been a massive pain, contacting you what feels like at least once a week for the last 17 years… I am genuinely very pleased with the site in general, and very excited to have it live – just these last few snags to sort and I’ll be very happy indeed!

Best

Danielle
