Mobile view issues

Hi!
I need to fix a couple of issues on the mobile version of the website.
1. Is there a way to make the space between icons on top smaller on the mobile version only? Also, make the search bar smaller and either remove the word search or make the font smaller? Right now the word search is being cut off almost completely from the visible field and it looks strange. I would like to achieve something similar to what I currently have on Virtue theme, the header looks perfect there.
2. Can I adjust margin or padding on the mobile version to see less white space on both sides of the screen? There is too much of the padding on both sides.
3. How can I change the drop down menu color? It is currently set to white and I can only see the active menu? I dont have theme options, so maybe there is a css that I can use.
