Modify post background image position

Hi Team,
Please could you help with a fix?
I have set the pageheader background-image for a post, but I need to reposition it below the menu header.
I have tried using the CSS:
.single-post div#pageheader {background-position: 0px 100px !important;
This moves the background-image down but then cuts off the bottom. Is it possible to move it down and re-size it, whilst still retaining the responsive properties?
