Mosaic style image gallery on Portfolio project page?

Hi all

I’ve created a portfolio overview page with an image grid in the mosaic style, as demoed here:

I’d like to have an image gallery on each single portfolio page, as seen here:

However, whilst I can create a gallery using tiled and masonry settings, there doesn’t seem to be an option for a mosaic effect? Seems weird that one page has the option and another one doesn’t, I wonder if I’m missing something somewhere? Another rather annoying issue I’ve come across is that when I go to edit a gallery and it opens the media library, all the layout option dropdowns revert to ‘default’ so I need to reset them each time before resaving.

Could you also explain how the ‘Similar Projects’ in the portfolio section works? I’ve created a couple of demo project pages, but the Similar Projects section doesn’t show up on either of them.
