Option Like a Post is not working

I tried to post this question before but I guess it didn’t go through …
I wonder why the footer of my blog posts shows the “Like This” option and “Loading” that never loads.
I have to clear the Show Likes option for that to stop.
Is it theme related or do I have to search support in the WP forums?
