Overlap logo beyond header onto slider?

Hey,
I’m trying to add my logo to my main header, but as it’s a tall logo and my header is only as tall as my menu, I want to have the logo overlap the slider below the header and keep the header the same size it is now (the size of the main menu).
Keeping the logo attached to the sticky menu.
Just like they’ve done on this site: http://www.fitnessfirst.co.uk
When I add the logo now, it just makes the header/main menu really tall which doesn’t look good.
Any ideas? Thanks!
