Parent- and child categories

Hey Hannah,
I am confused with the following:
I have as Parent Category Adventures
Under Adventures I have for example Turkey
Now I’ve added sub-posts (like you said child sub- categories) ‘Reasons to visit Turkey in winter, another one Transport options in Turkey and so on.
On the child category I’ve clicked Turkey as the Parent Category,
on the post itself (child/sub category post), on the right – a) must I make the child category the primary category or is Turkey the Primary category?
