Password Protected Posts Not Working – Theme Issue?

Hey Folks:

I am using Virtue Theme. I’m trying to password-protect specific posts using the “Visibility” option built into the WordPress admin interface.

I am able to assign a password to the post, so that’s no problem. When I initially access the post, I see what I expect to see: the page title, followed by a field to accept the password. Like so:

I then enter the password (yes, I am entering the correct password!). At that point, all that is returned is a blank screen.

What I wish I was seeing is the content of the protected post; unfortunately, all I’m getting is a blank page.

Please note the URL in the second example above. I have been searching WordPress forums, and several are reporting that there may be redirect problems or an outdated wp-login.php page. However, a couple of other forums suggest the problem may be theme-related, so I thought I would check with you all and see if you have run into this and perhaps fixed this before.
