Pinnacle contact page: make fillable fields more obvious

I am using a child theme of Pinnacle Premium V1.5.2
Hi, in the contact page, depending on the screen use, the area where a visitor can enter its name, e-mail, message and answer to the security question is not always obvious. A top line is visible, but the fillable ‘box’ is not because on certain screens, the background of the page appears pale grey and on some older screens, simply white, so it is impossible to see that there is a box to enter the information requested.
I can see different solutions but I do not know how to apply them:
1. Create a border around each of the ‘box’ to be filled
and/or
2. Make the background of these boxes another color, like a darker grey such as #b3b3b3 (or any other color number I would see fit)
or
3. Change the color of the background of the contact page but I do not like this one as it clash with the color I chose for my footer.
I think it will be through a change in my child theme: change in style.css file or creating a new template-contact.php file but I need your help as to how to do it!
