Posts on some category pages not showing

I’ve had an issue with my site where on some category pages the posts don’t show up, for example *Login to see link but page 2 is fine. The content is still there, but invisible. This has also happened where page 1 is ok but then the posts on page 2 don’t show. It seems to change when I create a new post and some of the other categories where this was happening are now ok.
