products overlaying category image

If there is a category and it has a description along with an image, I have noticed the products that are listed below it do not fall below the image. They start showing up after the text. In some cases the text is not that long, while the image has some depth to it, so the product images overlay the category image that is in the description. Anyway to fix that?
Also, on product displays with Ascend Premium the “sale” line (a red line) is right in the middle of the image and the product title is under that and if the image is dark you can’t even see the product title. With Pinnacle Premium the title was under the image as well as the ability to add a brief description under the title. I could not find that option in Ascend Premium. Is that some more “Custom CSS”?
Can you make the product grid boxes all the same height?
