Reduce space between rows on main page

Hello,
I would like to reduce the space between rows in Pinnacle theme on our main page:

I found an answer in the forum (Virtue Theme › Reduce Padding/white space between rows main page – October 19, 2016). So I tried to put this in the custom css box.
.home-padding {
padding: 0;
}
But it didn’t worked. Can you help me please!
