Revolution Slider Animations not functioning

I am working on a dummy site and trying to a hang of the Revolution Slider. Other then a basic fade none of the other layer animations are working for me. I have WordPress 3.9.1 installed and even downloaded the demo slides for Revoution from *Login to see link The animations do not work on the demo content either. Am I missing something I checked and the Revolution slider is 4.5.9 (the current version) and I am using the latest Virtue Premium 2.5.1.
Anyone else having this issue?
