revolution slider as home page?

I am looking to use a single image with word that fly in and then a button appears. once you click the button it takes you to the official home page. how would I accomplish this? for some reason I cant figure out how to make this slider my “homepage” and then when you click the button it would take you to the real homepage with all the content.
