Single Page Parallax design

Hi Ben et al,
I tried searching for this topic but could not find a discussion. I am interested in redesigning our site to a more modern-looking single-page parallax style, with some mods. I notice that the demo for Virtue Premium is already like that by default. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to begin the changeover. The home page gives me two options: static (current state) or blog but neither one seems to do what I want to do. How can this best be achieved? Also, if I DO switch to that style, is it still possible to have other pages linked off from menus? I want to put MOST of the info into the single page design and have some menu entries kick you “down the page”, but there is more that should be a step removed. Thanks for your help in advance.
