Slow site: ?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments

In particular the table headed “File Requests”

As you can see the page load seems awesome, but when you hover over the second from bottom amber coloured time bar it shows an additional 5+ seconds. When visiting the site it is slower than that in most cases – I followed many of the things in your Need For Speed document, unchecked the “Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives” button has not effect.

Any particular reason why ?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments would start being slow over the past week – often the site takes 10-30 seconds to load a page, and my admin area is so much slower than last week. Apart from hosting, which I will get on to in the next message. Is there anything else that could be causing that to be so long and so suddenly, as I said there was no issue last week, the load times were physcually 3-7 seconds all in (still slow but not frustratingly so).
