Small bug with buddpress submit button?

Hello
I notice when using buddypress – sending a message form the submit button is kind of sat on top of default ascend button background.
I’ve been trying to use css to remove the background colour but it’s just not working. Even when I don’t include the surrounding div it’s still not removing it.
#send_message_form .btn, .button, .submit, button, input[type="submit"] {
background-colour:none !important;
}
Any ideas on how I can target this properly please?
