Snippets of my latest posts disappeared from home page

Hey Hannah,

I’ve noticed that the snippets from my latest posts disappeared/not showing on my home page (bottom) where it used to appear. There is only a big white blank space But when I click there it is taking me to a PERU draft post (which by mistake was Published before its completely finished), so I’ve changed it to private (as I can’t seem to change it to. Don’t know how to rectify it? Thanks in advance.

When I go to Appearance > Customize, then it appears on the Home page? Does this mean others can see it but not me when I go to my website (even from another Computer)?
