Social Media Setting

Hello there,
I’ve been trying to add social media icon on header and footer, but not been successful.
I’ve looked at this page of yours

and tried on header and footer, but nothing appears on header nor footer.
I thought may be the icon label colors are clear or white, but couldn’t fine any setting to change that.
Also moved other hear items on top, mid low rows and I see immediate change on preview, but not social media.
They are all have link embedded.
Is there any place that explaining step by step asI can not find any solutions. I must be missing some crucial step.
Would be fantastic if you could guide me the right direction.

p.s The site I’m working on now is offline and hosted on local host/MAMP on my mac. so I cannot post the link…
